THANK YOU MOMS!!!!!!!!

Mother’s Day is such a special day for mothers of all kinds. There are the moms that gave us a home for 9 months in their womb, ones that searched for us and brought us into their lives when we were given away, and ones that took us in even though we had 4 legs and a tail.

I want to say THANK YOU! I have not had my time yet that makes me a mother, but I am grateful beyond belief for my mother. Thank you to mothers of all walks of life for losing sleep when we were infants and up all night crying. Thank you for kissing every boo boo, for the soup when we were sick, the unwanted but much needed discipline and doctors appointments. For making us stand in the corner when we were bad, and in my case making me open and close the door nicely when I slammed it , and for having me walk up and down the stairs nicely when I had a temper tantrum, (started the booty building early).

Thank you for being a shoulder to cry on after the first, second, third, fourth and present day heart break from unworthy boyfriends. Thank you for teaching us how to brush ourselves off and stand on our two feet after each and every time we felt broken.

Thank you for teaching us that

• women are any and everything they want and dream to be

Thank you for being the women that are STRONG, RESILIENT, BEAUTIFUL, and SMART. Strong women, we know them, we are them and by all means may we raise them.
