I personally feel like I am in NEED of warm cup of coffee between my hands. I NEED that Hug! in a Mug!
Everyone has different triggers, different limits to their stress level, and everyone handles and copes with stress differently. Some people have a hair thin limit to their stress level before they are maxed out. Some people have a very, very long fuse attached to a very big bomb when it comes to their stress level. There are people who come home from a long day of work and drink their one glass of wine and relax when their day is done. Whereas, others drink the bottle and wake up like they were shot out of a cannon, and manage to show up for work right on time; Then we have the tv relaxers, the ones who "veg" out in front of their tv and escape their shit storm of a life through tv fantasies in their bedroom, you know, the ones who fall asleep to a good TBS series or a good Life Time movie. Over the last few days, I put myself in the exhausted, maxed out crowd, who pass the EFF out on the couch as soon as they come in the door. It's all a personal matter, and everyone is different. What is important is that we HANDLE our stress, period.
I literally came home from work yesterday, took my shower, tried to do a little self care by painting my nails (clear polish because painting nails is not my forte), I lit my purple, crystal decorated serenity candle, and while waiting for my base coat to dry I laid back on my bedroom floor in a stupor for a good 20 mins.
Earlier in the day I was at that, hard to breathe, pain in your chest, I need to go to a place far far away, and just sit in my own place of peace and solitude, point. Am I at a point where I'm gonna shave my head and break shit?.... absolutely not! (lol) I just need to find time to center myself and breathe.

Everyone has to know their limits, and know how to listen to their body when stress gets to a heightened level.
Some triggers for me are
Having a time constraint for too long of a period of time- Lacking self care
A work load being too heavy with not enough time in the day
Lack of sleep
Feeling like I am spreading myself too thin (a human Swiss Army knife)
To bring myself some peace when life gets to be too much I
Take some ME TIME
Meditate before bed
Take a salt bath with essential oils like Lavender
Do some self care! - Face masks, Paint my nails, hair masks etc.
Quality-time with friends
Yoga- Stretch that stress out of your body!
JOURNAL- Journaling is very helpful
We try to be everywhere! and do everything! for everyone! We try to be perfect and please everyone! Eventually it catches up to us, and we need to take time to please ourselves. At the end of the day, WE are who we NEED to take care of! We are who we NEED to make happy! After all, the person we ultimately spend the most of our time with, is ourself. So find time to do what your body is asking you to do and love yourself! People will love and adore you, but not the way you do and should. #selflove #selfcare
