Some Like it Hot and Some Like it Cold

I am sitting here on this late Wednesday morning/afternoon, with the idea of what Hug in a Mug means to me. About what I wanted in life when I created this blog. A warm cup of coffee in between my hands and, for lack of better words... coffee talk. I'm thinking about life, and the ups and downs, the heart aches and blessings, and people; And how they react to other people's glories while they are living in a not so glorious moment in their life. I am thinking about how I react when I hear someone had a positive leaf turned in their direction... and how I feel happy for the joy brought onto them. How I am not everyone's cup of tea, but that is okay, because I'm more of a coffee girl.

In life, it is not our job to be everyones cup of tea. I've read this quote on numerous sites- "Some people will never like you because your spirit irritates their demons". and LORD does that quote hit a sweet spot in my soul. It's our job to to be our own! Warm cup of coffee between our hands. Maybe other people prefer their coffee cold. Who knows!

I AM ME

I am kind, which can make me be sort of a push over

I am methodical, and with certain things a perfectionist

I am overbearing, so I come across a bit extra

I am lazy, and love the idea of imagining myself a sloth when I don't want to be bothered.

I am an over analyzer when I fear the unknown.

I am moody when I am tired

I am an afternoon person, not a morning person-so good luck

I am a sleep whore

I am a nudge when I feel ignored

I am a snorter when I laugh extra hard

I get sleepy ha-ha's when I am over tired

I am simple, and prefer relaxing than a Friday night bar hop

I am a lover, and when I love, I love hard and with every ounce of my being

I get side tracked- when I see, or remember things I want to share with you.... Because I love life and want to capture every memory, and want to make sure to share them with the people I love.

Life is about loving YOUR life, not about making people love you. It's your job to love yourself. Once you do that, everything else falls into place. If people chose to rain on your parade when things go well for you, chose to Dance in it instead of standing there getting wet.
